This site is operated by Straight Stitching LLC, and throughout these terms, the words "I," "me," "my," and "we" refer to Straight Stitching. By using the site or purchasing my products, you agree to be bound by the terms, conditions, and policies listed here. These apply to everyone who interacts with my site, including browsers, customers, and contributors.

You agree not to duplicate or exploit any part of my website, services, or products without written permission from me.

I do my best to keep information on the site accurate, but I can't guarantee that all content will be complete or up to date. Please use your own judgment when relying on it.
4. Modifications to Services and Pricing
Prices for my products may change without notice. I may also modify or discontinue services at any time without liability to you or any third party.
5. Products and Services
All products sold through this site are digital downloads unless otherwise explicitly stated. No physical goods are shipped unless otherwise explicitly stated at the time of purchase. I work hard to accurately represent my products, but I cannot guarantee that colors or images will display identically across all screens and devices.
6. Pattern License and Permitted Use
All quilt patterns, block patterns, written instructions, diagrams, and photographs I sell or publish (collectively, "Patterns") are original creative works owned by Straight Stitching and protected by copyright.
These license terms apply to all Patterns, whether purchased or provided at no cost, including free downloads, Block of the Month releases, and any other complimentary content shared through this site or my email list.
When you purchase or receive a Pattern, I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it for your own quilting projects. This license does not transfer ownership of the Pattern or any copyright in it.
You may:
Use the Pattern to make quilts, blocks, or other finished items for personal use, gifts, charity donation, or sale in small quantities (for example, at craft fairs, in a small online shop, or similar settings).
Share photos of your finished or in-progress projects on social media or elsewhere. Credit to Straight Stitching is always appreciated.
You may not, without my prior written permission:
Share, sell, trade, post, or otherwise distribute the Pattern file, instructions, diagrams, or photographs to any other person, whether for free or for payment.
Reproduce any part of a Pattern on another website, blog, marketplace, or print publication.
Use a Pattern, or instructions or diagrams substantially similar to it, to create a competing pattern for sale or distribution.
Use a Pattern for mass production or commercial manufacturing.
Record, broadcast, livestream, or publish a tutorial, class, or instructional video using this Pattern on YouTube, social media, or any other platform.
If you'd like to use a Pattern in a way not covered here, such as for a shop class, guild event, commercial product, or recorded tutorial, please reach out at tiffany@straightstitching.com to discuss permission.
7. Billing and Account Information
I reserve the right to limit or cancel orders at my discretion. If changes are made to your order, I'll notify you using the contact information you provide. Please ensure all your account details are up to date.
8. Returns, Refunds, and Shipping
Please review my Return Policy and Shipping Policy for details on refunds, order changes, and delivery timelines. Those policies are incorporated into and form part of these Terms of Service.
9. Third-Party Tools and Links
Sometimes I may offer access to third-party tools or link to third-party sites. I'm not responsible for their content, accuracy, or any issues arising from using them. Use these at your own risk.
10. User Comments and Submissions
If you share feedback, suggestions, or content with me, you agree that I can use it in any way, without compensation to you. I'm not obligated to respond to comments or submissions but will remove anything unlawful or offensive.
11. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse my website, including using it for illegal activities, violating intellectual property rights, or spreading harmful or obscene content. I may terminate your access if these terms are violated.
12. Website Content and Copy Protection
All text, images, patterns, blog posts, and other content on this site are original works owned by Straight Stitching LLC and protected by copyright law. This site uses technical measures to protect that content, including restrictions on text selection, right-click menus, and common copy shortcuts.
You agree not to circumvent, disable, or otherwise work around any copy-protection or access-control measures used on this site. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution of any content from this site, including but not limited to pattern descriptions, blog articles, photographs, and instructional text, is prohibited without prior written permission from Straight Stitching.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
I provide my services "as-is" and "as-available" without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free use. I'm not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or products.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of this site or purchase of any product is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. In no event will I be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
15. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
16. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect. These Terms of Service, together with my Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and Shipping Policy, make up the entire agreement between you and Straight Stitching regarding your use of the site.
