Hi, I’m Tiffany.

I'm a quilt pattern designer, a quilting educator, and an engineer who picked up a rotary cutter in 2022 and found something I didn't expect to love this much.

By profession, I'm a Supply Chain Manager at an aerospace company. By passion, I'm a traditional quilter who's drawn to the geometry, the precision, and the way an ordinary stack of fabric becomes something a family will use for generations.

My engineering background turned out to be a surprisingly good fit for quilting. I love understanding how things work and then explaining them clearly, which is exactly what I try to do in every pattern I write: not just what to do, but why it works, where beginners tend to get stuck, and how to get great results from classic techniques.

Straight Stitching is where I design and share beginner-friendly quilt patterns rooted in traditional blocks: half-square triangles, flying geese, classic combinations that have been loved for generations. I also create educational content for quilters who want to build real skills, not just get through a project and move on.

Since launching, I've had the opportunity to share this work with a much wider audience. My patterns have been featured in Love of Quilting magazine and included in the Hoffman California Fabrics 24/7 Look Book. I'm a 2026 Maywood Makers program participant and have designed patterns for Art Gallery Fabrics, with more collaborations coming later this year.
